Welcome to Wayside Cottage B&B

A period cottage, approximately 270 years old, in the small village of Tendring. In the heart of the Tendring Peninsula, surrounded by countryside with pleasant walks and many other small villages all with a good selection of pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Over 270 Years old, it more than likely started life as two workman's cottages. Now one beautifully situated cottage overlooking the English Countryside. You can't help but fall in love with both the cottage and the area. To appreciate the Cottages full promise, a visit to our photo album is a must....	With a good sized double bedded room with a family room attached and another with twin beds and futon both with  outstanding views and good Old English or Continental breakfast to start the day, where else would you rather be than in the middle of of the Tendring Peninsula with all the peace and quiet of a real English village.

Stay in Wayside Cottage, and take your time to explore this wonderful part of the English Countryside, with all the charm of old pubs and village life, close to Beth Chateau Gardens at Elmsted Market or travel further into the closer cities to enjoy both the history of Colchester, Ipswich and Clacton mixed with modern amenities such as cinemas and shopping centres. Even the City of London with all its Theatres and shows is only just over an hour away by train!
